find a joy in life / rituals over routines / purpose can be peace

give up or give in / either way they are alone / stay strong for them all

time is forgiving / sharp edges of past smooth now / rear view mirror life

storms roll in and out / sun shines as a reminder / not all days are dark

why am I here now / this place I now occupy / what is my purpose

hide your love away / for it is prey to anger / but is peace to joy

one day to the next / shifts in time and in feeling / key is root in love

weeks are blinks in time / trends take years to form and flow / hold your head and heart

isolation by / force does not teach a lesson / it simply hurts deep

sometimes strength takes on / the task of appearing as / weakness in disguise
